Graveside services will be at 11:00 today at Parkhill Cemetery, with Rev. Dan Gates officating, according to McMullen Funeral home. - Mr. Culpepper, son of the late Sara Weston Culpepper and Walter Simpson Culpepper was born September 08, 1908 in Talbot County, GA. He was self employed in construction and was a member of the East Highland United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Brandt Culpepper, a son, Knox Culpepper, Jr and a brother Edward Culpepper. Survivors include; daughter Erna Culpepper Stanton; Four grandchildren, Brandt Culpepper of Washington, D.C. , Walter Knox Culpepper III of Atlanta, Ga, Karyn Capella of Gainesville, FL and Matthew McCranie of Crystal River, FL. Two brothers, James Henry Culpepper and Weston Culpepper of Columbus, GA; six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, those so deciding may conrtibute to the American Cancer Society, 1519 4th Ave, Columbus, Ga or to the Vencor Hospice, 3646 Edgewood Rd, Columbus, Ga.
